STANDARD WARRANTY TERMS AND CONDITIONS
1. GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS
Wooden Homeware Pty., Ltd. (Hereinafter referred to as “Wooden Homeware”) guarantees Q Furniture products free from defects in workmanship in the warranty period of 12 months from the date of purchase.
If your product is covered by this warranty, at our sole discretion, we may replace your product with a new product with equivalent features as determined by us when your product is not economically repairable or repair costs exceed the original purchase price of your product. The replacement product shall be equivalent in specifications of your original product and the cost shall not exceed the original purchase price. Due to changes in our design and production, the replacement product we supply may have a lower selling price or different parts or specifications to your original product. Replacement price differences, if any, will not be refunded.
If a replacement product is not available, we will pay you an amount not exceeding the Original Purchase Price of your Product less any paid repair or service cost/s.
Payment to you or replacement of your product shall constitute fulfillment of this Warranty and will not transfer to a new Product.
2. PROOF OF PURCHASE
Please ensure that you keep your original purchase receipt and/or Tax Invoice to validate this Warranty. Failure to provide these documents in the event of a claim makes this Warranty null and void.
3. SERVICE OR REPLACEMENT DURING THE WARRANTY PERIOD
In the event that this product is broken on arrival, you have 14 days in which to return the product to Wooden Homeware’s retailer for a new replacement. If you do not return the product within 14 days then the product will be treated under normal warranty conditions.
Under normal warranty conditions the product must be returned to Quins Group’s head office in Melbourne, Victoria or evidence of damaged products (images for example) to be sent to Quins Group’s head office for assessment.
Please ensure that the product is properly packaged so as to ensure that no damage occurs to the product during transit. Also make sure you have included an explanation of the problem.
In the event that the goods requiring repair or replacement under warranty, the owner is responsible for the cost of transport to and from Quins Group in Melbourne, Victoria. Whilst in transit the goods are at the owner’s risk.
4. GENERAL EXCLUSIONS AND LIMITATIONS
This warranty is limited to defects in workmanship. This warranty does not extend to accessories or packaging.
This warranty does not cover any defect caused by an accident, misuse, abuse, improper assembly, lack of reasonable care, loss of parts, tampering or attempted repair by a person not authorized by the distributor, or use of product by a person over the weight or age limits as specified in our printed/ online Catalogue or in the product tags. It is recommended that consumers should refer to our CARE AND MAINTENANCE of our products.
The warranty will not apply if damage, malfunction or failure resulting from alterations, accident, misuse, abuse, fire, liquid spillage, mis-adjustment of customer controls, natural disasters or acts of God, use of defective or incompatible accessories, exposure to outdoor conditions, damaged by insect, vermin or foreign object in the Product.
This warranty does not cover damage arising during transportation, installation or while moving the Product, or to any transportation costs of the Product or any parts thereof to and from the owner, unless otherwise specified in these warranty conditions.
Wooden Homeware will not be liable for any loss, damage or alterations to a third party, no matter how occurring; or for any loss or damage arising from loss of use, loss of profits or revenue, or for any resulting indirect or consequential loss or damage.
This warranty does not cover normal wear and tear of the Product or parts.
Wooden Homeware excludes all other warranties, conditions, terms, representations and undertakings whether express or implied.
